Adrian Wrestlers go 2-0 at Home

The Dragon wrestlers hosted a quad on Tuesda, December 17, hosting St. James, Springfield, and Fulda/MCC. That was the first home event for the Dragons, and turned into a successful night of wrestling. The Dragons finished the night with a 2-0 record, defeating St. James 55-21 and Springfield 63-15.

In the first dual of the night, the Dragons took on Springfield and finished  with a 63-15 victory.  The Dragons started by winning six of their first seven matches. Bruce Farinella (106), Rilee Heidebrink (132), and Logan Sherer (138) all won by forfeit, while David Anaya (113) and Logan Taylor (145) each recorded a fall. After losing by a major decision at 152, Quentin Wolf, Cam Wieneke, and Jaren Winselman won their matches by fall. Scot Edwards would close the dual by pinning Ashton Danielson in :24.

The Dragons faced St. James in the second dual of the night. David Anaya started out by winning an 8-2 decision over Kollin Anderson. After losing at 113, Reese Morrison and Breyer Hieronimus would receive forfeits. After falling to a 4-2 decision at 132, the next four Dragons, Logan Sherer, Logan Taylor, Isaac Bullerman, and Quentin Wolf all won by fall. Three of the final four dragon wrestlers secured victories, leading to a 55-21 win for the Dragons.

Varsity Outstanding Wrestler was Quentin Wolf. Hunter Lehmann was named JV OW.
