For the 3rd consecutive year, the Adrian High School One-Act moved on to the Section Competition

For the 3rd consecutive year, the Adrian High School One-Act moved on to the Section Competition after competing last Saturday at the Sub-Section competition in Pipestone. Six plays from local schools including Pipestone, Murray County Central, Westbrook-Walnut Grove, Red Rock Central, and Luverne competed for one of two places at the annual competition held at Redwood Valley High School. Director Jason Olson commented, “I am so proud of the students. Our sub-section is historically the strongest one in the section and to make it out of there alive is a good omen.” Senior Justin Feit, participating in his fourth One-Act stated, “I feel pretty good about where we stand right now. The elements have come together.”

While Pipestone won the competition, Adrian placed a strong second and Olson mentioned that he felt in a good position heading in to the Section competition. The top finisher at Sections will represent 3A at the State Tournament held on Friday, February 13 in St. Paul, Minnesota. Cast and crew members include Justin Feit, Chantel Heeren, Emily Lyons, Brendon Kopplow, Connor Haken, Jordan Pater, Carmen Wieneke, Ashley Thier, Kelsey Altman, Mitchell Voss, Andrew Lonneman, Laura Lorang, Torri Jeffers, Shelby Springman, Jase Pater, Brandon Weidert, Alisha Tweet, Nichole Loosbrock, Natalie Cook, and Nick Lorang.

Congratulations One Act!
