E/E downs H-BC 42-0

Move to 9-Man Section Championship
E/E suffered its only loss week two of its football season to H-BC 34-28. With H-BC having a perfect 8-0 season and E/E 8-1 they were sure to meet again at playoff time and they did.

The two teams met on Saturday Oct 26, 2012 with E/E coming out on top this time 42-0. E/E now advances to the section championship game against another undefeated team Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley.

Along the the offense, 305 yards running and 107 passing yards, the defense played a big part in the win stopping the H-BC running game.

Leading the Dutchmen against H-BC was Isaac Heard completing 8 of 13 passes and Blake Jouwstra’s 13 carries for 121 yards.

Daniel Kramer started the scoring with his first carrier touchdown in the first quarter.

Highlights for the game for E/E were runs of 60 and 73 yards by Blake Jouwstra in the first and second half.

Other leaders for the game were Jorge Lopez 10 tackles and two interceptions, Derek Voge 10 tackles, Delvin Hulstein nine carries, 58 yards, Austine LaFollette 10 carries 58 yards, 11 tackles and Tyler Kurrasch nine carries for 44 yards.

E/E will face Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley Friday, 12 p.m. at Mattke Field on the campus of Southwest Minnesota University in Marshall.
