Remember the Thanksgiving Church Service that will be held at St. Mary's Church in Ellsworth on Wednesday evening Novem-ber 21, 2012 at 7:30. This is open to the public and all other churches are invited to attend.
Sweer, Florence and Sharon Arends enjoyed an early Thanksgiving dinner in the home of their daughter Keith and Marvella Klaahsen, Sibley IA. Other guests were Glen and Barb Arends, Lester IA; Jesse and Heather Postma and son Logan; Holly Arends , Doug Arends all from Sioux Falls SD. Michelle Klaahsen and boys Micah and Kayden Wilson. Sibley IA; and Ervin and Lori Arends Little Rock IA. The Herman Kramer family enjoyed a Thanksgiving gathering at the Ellsworth School on Saturday. The Ellsworth American Legion participated in the posting of the colors on Monday November 12th at 2:00 for the Veteran Day Program at Parkview Manor Nursing Home. David Klein was the guest speaker for the day. Skip Birkett accompanied his sister Mimi Schleusner to the Football banquet for Central Lyon in Rock Rapids, IA on Sunday evening. Mimi's son and Skip's nephew Cole Schleusner is a member of the football team. |
