Funeral Services for Marian Hinrichs, age 83, of Ellsworth, MN, were held Friday, November 23, 2012, at the Zion Presbyterian Church, Ellsworth, MN
Funeral Services for Marian Hinrichs, age 83, of Ellsworth, MN, were held Friday, November 23, 2012, at the Zion Presbyterian Church, Ellsworth, MN, with Rev. Calvin Hsu officiating. Burial was in the Grand Prairie Cemetery, Ellsworth, MN. Marian died Monday, November 19, 2012, at the Adrian Care Center. She was born December 3, 1928, to Harm and Mary (Timmerman) Solma. Marian married Jacob W. Hinrichs on April 1, 1947, in Ellsworth. After their marriage, the couple farmed south of Adrian for over sixty two years. In 1987, they moved to Ellsworth. Marian also worked at Campbellís Soup Company, in Worthington, with over thirty years of loyal and faithful service. She was a member of the Zion Presbyterian Church in Ellsworth. She enjoyed fishing and traveling with Jake to casinos. Marian is survived by her four children, Marvin Hinrichs, Adrian; Arlene (Jim Tanner) Rosdahl, Northwood, IA; Jacob Hinrichs Jr., Ellsworth; and Ruth (John Mauch) Hinrichs, Adrian; daughter-in-law, Lynn Hinrichs, Ellsworth; four grandchildren, Jody (Merrily) Hinrichs, Ellsworth; Amy (Bryce Petersen) Jorgensen, Northwood, IA; Christina (Ray) Palmer, Ellsworth; and Kim (Phillip) Hannan, Adrian; ten great grandchildren, Jordon, Amber, Trei, Jenna, McKenna, Taylor, Kaci, Tristan, Khailee and Cody; sister, Marjorie Boltjes, Adrian; two sisters-in-law, Joyce Habbena, Iowa; and Helen Solma, Rushmore; and numerous nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jake, on March 11, 2011; two sons, Robert and Ronald Hinrichs; an infant son; great grandson, Carter Palmer; brother, Harvey Solma; and Marvinís special friend, Janice Everson.
