ELLSWORTH PUBLIC SCHOOL REGULAR SCHOOL BOARD MEETING

School Library Ellsworth, Minnesota

Monday, October 15, 2012

The regular school board meeting was called to order by Chairman Cliff Schilling at 5:00 p.m.

A roll call revealed all members present. Staff present: George Berndt, John Widvey, & Monica Lorang.A motion was made by Kruse and seconded by Goedken to approve the minutes of the regular meeting held on September 17, 2012. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Goedken and seconded by Werner to approve all bills and claims. Motion carried.

The Board of Education reviewed the Student Activity Fund.The Board of Education reviewed the Treasurer's Report.

A motion was made by Boltjes and seconded by Kruse to approve the Treasurerís Report. Motion carried.Mr. Berndt reported on the following items

:Presented information on college visits.Presented information on student dress code.The first round of volleyball tournaments will be on October 22. Everything went well with the football homecoming. Mr. Berndt thanked the Community Club for the tailgate supper.

Presented a resignation submitted by Molly Kramer, Paraprofessional.

A motion was made by Dirks and seconded by Goedken to accept the resignation submitted from Molly Kramer as paraprofessional. Motion carried.

The Community Club will sponsor the Halloween Party on Wednesday, October 31. Presented information on bus concerns.Dave Goedken presented a price quote on a school sign. He also presented donations from the community for the school sign.

A motion was made by Werner and seconded by Kruse to approve the purchase of a school sign with the help of community donations. Motion carried.

Financial Consultant John Widvey presented the following items: A discussion took place regarding food service equipment.

There being no further business Chairman Cliff Schilling called for a motion to adjourn.

A motion was made by Goedken and seconded by Kruse to adjourn. Motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 5:55 p.m.
