About twenty-five Christmas carolers jumped on a hayrack and visited several homes in Lismore on Thursday evening. The music was well received and it was a fun way to get in the Christmas spirit. Following their "concert on wheels", they all gathered at the Lismore Bar for snacks and appetizers.  

Jeff & Jill Diekmann returned home last week after spending time in the Fort Lauderdale, FL area with Dale & Linda Diekmann.  Brad Diekmann of Chanhassen, MN and Lee Diekmann from the Tampa, FL area came to join the fun.  The Diekmann’s enjoyed many rounds of golf while there. 

  The American Legion Auxiliary will celebrate the Christmas season by filling “good cheer” baskets at 6:00 p.m. on December 19th followed by their monthly meeting.  Serving lunch and providing BINGO prizes are: Marcella Gengler, Christy Preuss and Avis Stoffel. 

  Pvt. Dylan Johnson of Ft. Sills, OK is home on leave and took time from his recruiting duties to be a guest speaker for one of Mrs. Scheidt’s classes at Adrian High School. He spoke to a section of junior students about his experiences thus far with the US Marines.

  The Lismore Booster Club will meet on Wednesday, Dec. 19th at the Fire Hall to make preparations for their Santa Day event.  

Deb Lutmer visited with Joe Serocki & family of Browns Valley at the Sanford Hospital on Wednesday.  

Glenn & Jackie Wieneke and their grandson, Joshua Wieneke want to thank the Lismore Carolers for stopping on Thursday night to sing some Christmas songs.  Gracie (their dog) actually tried to sing along this year!!
