MLA 58 - ELLS 53

Panther girls dropped a conference game to Mountain Lake Area in overtime, 58-53.

The Panthers had the lead in the final minutes but were outscored by MLA in overtime.

Scoring for the Panthers were Alexa Huisman 16 points (10 rebounds), Bridget Kramer 16 points, 9 rebounds and Alissa Walters 10 points.

Boys

1-28-13

WGTN 82 - ELLS 62

In a hard fought battle against Worthington, the Panthers, who had the lead at several points but fell to Worthington 82-62 in non-conference action.

Scoring for the game were Drew Cheskie with 21 points, Mitch Leuthold 17 pts, Daniel Kramer and D’Shaun Herman each had 12 points.

SWC 74 - ELLS 36

The Panthers could not stop the Eagles in Edgerton last Tuesday. A slow first half for the Panthers put them behind by 32. Although they played much better in the second half they were unable to make up the difference.

Leading the scoring for Ellsworth was Mitch Leuthold with 15 points, Tim Nolte and Drew Cheski had six points each.

MLA 66 - ELLS 55

After leading at intermission, a slow second half saw the Panthers fall to Mountain Lake Area 66-55.

Mitch Leuthold finished with 17 points, Tim Nolte 11 points and Dan Kramer and Drew Cheskie got nine for the Panthers.

The Panthers record now stands at 6-13 and 5-6 for the year.
