The Lismore Post Office has officially started the new hours of operation.  The window will be open from 8:00-12:00 Monday-Friday.  Saturday hours are 8:00-10:00 a.m.   

The community theater group, The Misfits, will perform a 2-act comedy, “Fashionably Late”, at St. Kilian on March 16-17 and March 23-24. Dinner tickets may be purchased by contacting Audrey Brake at 472-8267.  

Ruth Hubbling was a guest at the wedding of Lindsay Kreun and Bobby Allen in Hill City, SD on Friday evening.  Lindsay is the daughter of Ruth’s cousin, Jeff Kreun.

  Olivia Weidert joined her friend, Megan Tweet, last Friday night for a 30-hour famine at the Living Rock Church in Luverne.  The girls had fun participating in a “picture” scavenger hunt.

  The 1st Presbyterian Church will host a Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, March 23rd beginning at 8:00 a.m.   They will be serving pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage and fruit at the Lismore Legion Hall.

  Helping Joyce Erdman and Ruth Erdman celebrate their birthdays on Sunday evening at Dar's Pizza in Pipestone were: Joyce’s husband, Earl Erdman from the MN Veterans Home in Luverne; Ruth's husband, Rod of Pipestone; Peggy & Mark Meyer and Tasha & Vern Schutte, all of Rushmore; Gary & Connie Hoffer of Adrian and Heather Kilffer of Leota.

Don’t forget to “spring ahead” on Sunday morning, March 10th…. or change your clocks before your go to bed on Saturday evening.   

Don & Kim Sykora of Ortonville were Friday overnight guests in the home of Dave & Deb Lutmer.  They enjoyed the Friday Lenten specials at the Lismore Grill.

Stephen Loosbrock participated in the 56th Annual NAIA Wrestling National Championships in Des Moines, IA this weekend.  Stephen is a student at Benedictine College in Atchinson, KS and a member of the Raven wrestling team at 174 lbs.  His “fan club” included: his parents, Bruce & Brenda Loosbrock and sister, Shelly, all of Lismore; sisters Nicole & Mary Jean, students at Benedictine College; Doug Bullerman and Pat & Cammie Dorn, all of Adrian.   Stephen had some great competition but was unable to reach the medal round.  

Last Sunday, Jim & Kris Weidert and Olivia visited with Lacy Weidert in Mankato.  

The American Legion Auxiliary will have their regular monthly meeting on Wednesday, March 20th at 7:00 p.m.  Jamie LeBrun will serve lunch and LuAnn Reisdorfer and Bette LeBrun will help her provide the prizes.

Visiting with Darleen Lutmer on Sunday were:  Bruce & Ruth Lutmer, Brooklyn Park; Linda Bartl, Mitchell, SD; Joyce & Dave Kanten, Fulda; Gary Lutmer, St. James; Rick & Linda Lutmer and Kate & Adam, Omaha, NE; and Jeff Lutmer, Patty Johnson and Dave & Deb Lutmer.  They all also attended the visitation for Jim Roemeling at the Adrian Funeral Home.
