When Ms. Danielle Wedeking, Adrian Middle/High School art instructor learned that the Washington Pavilion in Sioux Falls was hosting an art contest to celebrate the birthday of Theodor Seuss Geisel, more commonly known as Dr. Seuss, she decided that creating artwork inspired by Dr. Seuss books would be a fun project for her 6th grade art students.

Recently, Wedeking learned from Kaia Mogen, Special Projects Coordinator at the Washington Pavilion that the Pavilion received 530 entries for their "Seuss-tacular" Art contest. Out of those 530, forty artworks were chosen for display at the Washington Pavilion in Sioux Falls. Two of those selections were created by Adrian students: Avery Balster and Tucker Sievers.
