Scott Kessler, Adrian Care Center Administrator, may be a new face to the Adrian facility but Scott comes to Adrian with 15 years experience in long term care on his resume. Scott has worked in various areas of long term care over the years as he worked his way up to administration. With experience as an Activity Assistant and Activity Director, Dietary Manager as well as Person in Charge and Administer in Training, Scott brings an understanding of the needs of the different departments the employees and the residents.

Originally from Huron, SD, Scott served in the Navy from 1990-1993. He earned an Associates Degree in Business Administrator from Southeast Technical in Sioux Falls and a Bachelors Degree in Health Care Management from Bellevue University in Bellevue, NE. Kessler is employed by Elder Care of Minnesota who owns the Adrian Clinic and Adrian Care Center Nursing Home and manages the Adrian Country Living Assisted Living/Memory Care Unit.

Scott commented “I have a passion and heart to work with the elderly and the people in need of our services.” He looks forward to being in a smaller facility again where he is able to be out within the facility and getting the chance to know the residents and staff by name and knowing how their day is going. His plans are to continue to provide a home like atmosphere so residents can continue to enjoy living life to the fullest while they reside at Adrian Care Center.”

Scott is moving to Adrian this August and will be renting a house near the Adrian Care Center. He has a daughter, Sadie, who is entering the second grade in Luverne and son Kolton, who will be starting pre-school in Luverne this year.

Scott looks forward to settling in and finding a church in town. He states “the people I have met in Adrian have been really friendly.”

The Adrian Care Center will be holding a Job Fair August 22nd and 23rd. Scott is looking for RN, LPN, and CNA’s to join the Adrian Care Center team.

Stop in and welcome Scott to the community.
