A beautiful Catholic wedding took place at St. Adrian on October 5th, uniting Amber Loosbrock and Cel Ezeani of Boston, Massachusetts. The couple planned a very traditional wedding, complete with Latin liturgy and music provided by an orchestra and choir of family and friends. O Sanctissima was sung following communion and was a poignant moment with the wedding couple kneeling by the statue of Mary.  Fr. Thomas McDermott was joined at the altar by Fr. Andrew Beerman, Fr. Andy Vogel, and Fr. Allan White to concelebrate this Mass. Fr. McDermott, originally from Nebraska, had spent 18 years in Cel's home parish in Nigeria and is now in Chicago.  Fr. White is from New York City and ministers at the Newman Center.  How wonderful that these priests could be a part of this special day!  The reception was held at the Worthington Event Center in Worthington and guests were treated to a feast that began with fresh and dried fruits, nuts, cheeses, and other appetizers, followed by roast beef and stuffed chicken breasts, red potatoes, green beans, pumpkin stuffed ravioli, and delicious breads.  The groom's sister prepared the wedding cake, which was similar to a fruitcake. After the toasts and thank yous, partygoers hit the dance floor.  Cel's family knows how to dance!  The bride's parents, Bruce & Brenda Loosbrock were the perfect hosts for this gala event.  Cel's parents, Dr. and Mrs. Celestine Ezeani, hosted the groom's supper at the Lismore Legion and everyone (Loosbrock family included) wore traditional Nigerian attire and ate a customary meal prepared by the Ezeani family.  Congratulations, Amber & Cel, may you have many years of happiness!!
