Emily Chapa stretches to the limit to slam the ball over the net.
The Panthers season ended with 6-19 record for the year.
The Ellsworth Panther girls volleyball season as they ended swept by the Adrian Dragons in three 25-19, 25-22, 25-21 in the first round of Section play.

The first set saw Ellsworth battle back from a 14-4 deficit to come within three points 21-18 only to see Adrian outscore them in the final minutes and earn the win 25-19.

In a back and forth hard fought second set the Panthers led at one point 20-18 with Adrian coming back to tie the score 21-21 and go on to get the win 25-22.

The Panthers were leading by five in the third set when the Dragons rallied back to tie it at 19 and 21. The Dragons went on to win 25-21.

Panthers leaders for the night were Heidi Nolte with eight set assists and two ace serves, Emily Chapa getting five kills and two blocks, Alexa Huisman had four kills, two blocks, two ace serves and four digs and Danielle Debeer six set assists.

The Panthers season ended with 6-19 record for the year.
