Volunteers gather to spruce up Parkview Manor

February 7, 2014

Werner recalls that the last such remodeling was done twelve years ago, which was also carried out through the help of volunteers.
By Meredith Stanton Vaselaar Staff Writer The past few months were busy ones at Parkview Manor located at 308 West Sherman Avenue in Ellsworth. Volunteers gathered to bring a face-lift to the home.  Without using any of the home’s operating funds, volunteers provided paint and decorations for the walls, as well as donating their time and expertise in painting and other updating.

Says Administrator Mike Werner, “It was time for a change and new look. Parkview Manor has a group of volunteers that has various fund raisers which paid to have this remodel done.  Staff is helping decorate and with the generosity of individuals and businesses the facility is getting a fresh new look.”
