It may only be a pint of blood for you, but for a patient in need it can mean the difference between life and death.” Mark your calendar for the American Red Cross Bloodmobile, which will be in Lismore on Tuesday, July 8th at the Lismore Legion Hall starting at 2:00 p.m."  

Tammi Kremin and her son, Trace, recently lost their home and personal belongings as a result of a house fire in Lismore.  Luckily, they were not home/injured.  If you would like to help the Kremin’s, please send your donation to the First Presbyterian Church, PO Box 97, Lismore, MN  56155.    

Loren “Pete” and Terese Marie Peterburs of Mesa, Arizona (formerly of Lismore) are at the Adrian Campground for most of July. They will be visiting friends and relatives in the area.  Stop by to see them!

  Loren Weatherly of Sacramento, CA, spent time with his cousin, Jackie Wieneke, last week.  Loren and Jackie visited with Angie (Wieneke) Beek and several cousins on Friday in Sioux Falls.  On Saturday, they both attended their 50th high school class reunion at the Calumet in Pipestone.  It was a fun-filled night of reminiscing and getting reacquainted with classmates.  Loren drove to the Cities to visit with his brother before flying back to Sacramento on Tuesday morning.  

Looks like Laura (Mrs. Doug) Loosbrock turned 40!!  Her picture graced the Luverne papers, thanks to one of her “friends” or relatives!  Happy Birthday, Laura……40 looks good on you!

  Deb Lutmer was a Friday overnight guest in the home of her high school classmate, Kim & Don Sykora in Ortonville.  On Saturday she attended some of the "Sam Brown Day" festivities in Browns Valley and spent the night with her sister, Carol Giroux & Darrel Johnson in Wheaton.  Sunday morning, they, along with Vicki Dew of Willmar, drove to Grand Forks, ND where they met their brother, Donald & Terrie Dew of Minot, ND and their grandchildren, Arianna & Bella of Colorado Springs, CO for a few hours of visiting.  They each returned to their homes by Sunday evening.  

Friday, June 27th would have been Jackie & Glenn Wieneke’s 50th wedding anniversary.  Jackie was so thankful when their daughter, Angie Beek and her family sent some beautiful flowers and Barb Loosbrock also remembered Jackie with a special remembrance gift.  May the precious memories of your late husband, Glenn, and your many years of marriage bring you peace. 

  A personal shout out to Will & McCall Lutmer on their first wedding anniversary, June 29th.  May you make many more memories together.

  Jim Weidert and Nina and Jerry & Mary Weidert attended the graduation reception for Zach Loosbrock in Champlin on Sunday. Zach is the son of Tim & Jean (Weidert) Loosbrock and will be attending Alexandria Tech this fall.

  Joyce Erdman spent the weekend at Lake Madison near Madison, SD with the family of Gail Erdman.  Those gathering were: Justin & Meredith Jonas and Brooke & Claire of Sheldon, IA; Jason & Sara Jonas and family of Fort Collins, CO; Danielle & Elliot Apland and family of Casper, WY; and Randy Egenes, Hawarden, IA.
