The Lady Dragons got some court time before they head into the Sectional Tournament as they hosted the Luverne Cardinals. The Dragons would come out on top after five sets 25-12, 25-22, 22-25, 15-25, 15-12.
Consistent serving was again a game changer for the Dragons with Mayssa Tweet, Shawna Roger and Miah Kunkel all serving 100%. Miah Kunkel led the Dragons offensively with 18 kills followed by Bailey Lonneman with 15 kills. Defensively Miah Kunkel scooped up 23 digs, Kasie Tweet had 19 digs and Mayssa Tweet with 18 digs. Avery Balster led with 5 blocks.
The Dragons made short work of the HBC Patriots taking them down in three sets 25-17, 25-15, 25-15.
Shawna Rogers and Miah Kunkel served 100% from the line. Kasie Tweet led the team offensively with 23 set assists. Miah Kunkel put down 12 kills while defensively Avery Balster and Kasie Tweet dug up 11 digs each.
