The Dragons hosted Hills-Beaver Creek in the first round of Section 3A volleyball Sections on Friday, October 25th. The first seeded Dragons made fast work of the Patriots winning in three sets 25-20, 25-18 and 25-12.
Leading the Dragons offensively Kasie Tweet had 21 set assists in the game. Senior Bailey Lonneman led with 7 kills followed by Marisa Lehnhoff with 6, Brianna Reckamp with 6 and Shawna Rogers added 5 kills to the Dragon stats.
The Dragons again had a strong night from the service line with Kasie Tweet serving 24/26 and offering up 6 aces. Shawna Rogers was 11/12 with 2 aces and Mayssa Tweet was 9/9 from the service line.
Defensively the Dragons were led by Libero Mayssa Tweet with 18 digs followed by Kasie Tweet with 12. Shawna Rogers and Marisa Lehnhoff had 6 digs apiece.
