Lismore News 06-17-20

Kaitlyn Lorang said “out with the old, in with the new” when she donated ten inches of hair to Wigs 4 Kids of Michigan.  Katie Madsen of Main Street Hair Concepts did the honors.  Kaitlyn has now donated a total of  forty inches of hair!  How awesome! Kaitlyn is a 2020 graduate of Cedar Mountain High School and the daughter of Tom and Molly Lorang of Morton. Her grandparents are Ruth and the late Marvin Lorang of Lismore.

It must have been the week for donating hair as Mari Einck also donated eight inches of her hair to Children With Hair Loss.   Tina Schlichte of Primp Salon in Worthington, did the honors.  Mari is the 5 years old daughter of Mike and Melissa Einck and this is her second time of donating her locks!  She is the granddaughter of Jim and Kris Weidert and great-granddaughter of Jerome and Mary Weidert, all of Lismore.

Our communities have been hit with another tragedy and the loss of another young life.  We pray for all the families affected by this heartbreaking accident.

Barring any issues, Lynn (Lorang) Dearey is scheduled to be released from follow up liver transplant care in Denver on Monday, June 22, and will be able to return to her home in Durango, CO on Thursday, June 25.  Lynn and her family are thankful for the prayers as she definitely sees them being answered!

Guests in the Mary Ann Loosbrock home were her daughter Earl and Nancy Wolf and their daughter Felicia and their son Sam and his two girls, all of St. Paul.  They helped Mary Ann with a couple home projects before leaving on Sunday.

The St. Anthony Knights of Columbus announced the winners of the Don Lacore Scholarships.  They were: Dakota John (son of James & Shelley) and Paige Madison (daughter of Les Madison and Dawn Anders).  Congratulations and good luck with your continued education.
