Tough serving made all the difference for the Dragons as they downed the hosting Mt. Lake area Comfrey in three games. 25-20, 25-16, 25-12.
The Dragon serves kept MLAC off balance and disrupted any offense for the host team. Leading the serving charge was Kasie Tweet who had 8 ace serves for the Dragons and served 17 of 18. Avery Balster served 100% going 18 of 18 from the line and serving up 4 aces.
Offensively the trio of Miah Kunkel, Bailey Lonneman and Marisa Lehnhoff led the Dragons with 9 kills each. Defensively Mayssa Tweet led with 11 digs.
The Dragons will host Murray County Central on Thursday.
