Kay Cox had a very special experience last week.  Her brother-in-law, Lee Rust from Luverne, and her sister Laura Bosch, of Brandon came to visit her at the Country Living Cottages.  While they were visiting, Fr. Colletti came to visit.  They sat and chatted over a pot of coffee.  Before Fr. Colletti left, he blessed Kay and together the four of them prayed the Lord’s Prayer.  What was so special was that Lee attends the Baptist church, Laura goes to the Reformed church while Kay and Father Colletti are Catholic.  It was a joy for Kay to experience such inter-denominational prayer.

Did you know that Sunday’s carbs don’t count!  Those are the Lord’s carbs and He wants you to be happy!

Despite the nasty weather, about 40 kids came out to see the Easter Bunny on Saturday, March 24.  The Easter Bunny was not disappointed though, she got the chance to visit with the residents of Adrian Country Living Cottages.  Wonder if the residents received the leftover treats?

Levi Bullerman, son of Dean and Cindy Bullerman of Adrian, was named assistant football coach at SMSU last week.  Seth is a 2010 graduate of SMSU with a degree in sports management.  He was a three year starter for the Mustangs football team.  Congratulations Levi!

On Saturday, March 24, Kay Cox got a surprise visit from her daughter Ann Hoemberg and granddaughter, Tammy.  They drove down from Andover, MN to surprise Kay, and it really was a surprise!  They stayed overnight at Kay’s apartment.  On Sunday, her son Mike came to visit her and he also received a surprise when his sister and niece popped in!  It was a great visit.

According to Kay there are so many fun and crafty activities to keep the residents busy at the Cottages.  Karen Rye and her staff do a fabulous job.

Be sure to attend worship services this week to commemorate the Passion of Our Lord and rejoice in the Resurrection on Easter Sunday.  Times are listed in this weeks paper.
