Adrian students to host Veterans Day ceremony

Community members are invited to help Adrian students honor service men and women at the Veterans Day ceremonies at 9:30 a.m., Monday, Nov. 11 in the Adrian High School gym. Students of the Adrian National Honor Society have worked to prepare and organize this annual ceremony. The program will feature music from the high school band playing “A Salute to Freedom.” The high school choir will sing “Let Freedom Ring!” and the high school group will be joined by the middle school choir with “My America! with My Country Tis of Thee.”  Color guards from Adrian and Lismore veterans organizations will be part of the ceremonies. High school and elementary students will also honor veterans with special presentations.

Area veterans and spouses are invited to a free breakfast served by the National Honor Society students shortly before the program. The breakfast will be served from 8:15-9:00 a.m. in the concessions area by the high school gym. Reservations are requested by Friday, November 8.
