On Friday, November 15th and Saturday the 16th at 7:00 PM, Adrian High School will present the two-act mystery farce Run for the Money by Pat Cook. Admission ($6 for adults and $4 for students) will be taken at the cafeteria door to the Middle School gym and concessions will be available.
Eccentric millionaire Fosdick P. Floogee has died, so his family (Emily LeBrun, Bailey Lonneman, Julia Bullerman, Logan Nogosek, Shawna Rogers, Justin Umansor, Carson Wolford, Cheyenna John and Laura Luettel) and staff (Alysha Wieneke, Morgan Penning, Elizabeth Erwin) have gathered for the reading of his will. The lawyer (Maritza Beltran) informs the heirs they have to play a treasure hunt game in order to claim their inheritance before time runs out.
The plot thickens when a goon (Gabriel Thier) arrives to collect on a loan but has to hide from the law (Lexie Schettler, Tristin Hieronimus, and Moriah Bullerman) who try to capture him. A doctor (Dayton Romans) and his nurse (Hiltyn Heitkamp) arrive at the mansion to attend to the aches and pains of the would-be heirs. The whole crazy event is videotaped by two mysterious characters (Brenna Henning and Tannisha Runia).
Who killed Fosdick Floogee? Who finds and wins their inheritance? To find out, come to Run for the Money this Friday and Saturday at AHS.
