Cecilia was a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church in Luverne where she was involved with adoration. Cecilia always looked her best even if just running to Kenneth to the hardware store to get a part. She was a gracious hostess. When anyone stopped by around noon time, it was a common practice for her to set a plate for them to eat as well. Evening company always had a lunch of ice cream, cookies and coffee before the evening was over. During times of hay baling and silo filling, she put on a huge dinner meal, and sandwiches, cookies and fresh lemonade for the mid-afternoon lunch. Cecilia loved serving others. She was always early to the Coffee Club in Kenneth as she prepared the morning and afternoon coffee and cleaned up afterwards. She took pride in everything she did. She was a great neighbor and friend to everyone she met. In her spare time, she enjoyed crossword puzzles, Word Find, jigsaw puzzles and the Quiddler card game.
