Mary Kramer and her son Daryl were Thursday night callers with Sweer, Florence and Sharon Arends.

Sunday afternoon visitor with Jan Stoll was Devin Vis, Rock Rapids IA.

Dr. and Mrs George Shurr and Mimi Drenth Rock Rapids were Sunday callers with Ruth Birkett and Skip Birkett

Sympathy to the Wyona Drenth family.  Mrs Drenth passed away on Saturday April 21, 2018 at the age of 87.  Bless be her memory.

Mark you calendar now and watch for more details in this paper for the annual Ellsworth Family Fun Days, June 22,23 and 24, 2018.  Looks like there will be some new locations this year, for the craft show and other fun times.

Everyone is invited to a Memorial Day Program on Monday, May 28th at 9:30 a.m.

in the Ellsworth High School Gym. The program is sponsored by the Ellsworth Public School and Ellsworth American Legion Post 196 and Auxiliary. The speaker for this event will be Brett Heikes. The band will be having a pancake fund raiser following the service.

On Sunday, May 6th Zion Presbyterian Church will be celebrating confirmation. Madyson Bixby, Kendra DeBeer, Morgan Dreesen, Sarah Essman, McKenna Hinrichs & Emily Lens have completed two years of confirmation class and will be affirming their faith on May 6th becoming full active members of the church. Please join us for this special celebration!

This year the Ellsworth High School will have an ecumenical Baccalaureate Service. This year Baccalaureate

will be held at Bethel Reformed Church on Wednesday, May 16th at 7:00 p.m. Please support this service with your attendance to show that having a Baccalaureate Service is important to our community.
