Erwin Arends of Little Rock, IA was a Thursday visitor with Sweer, Florence and Sharon Arends.
Denny Johanning and Ron Wessels returned home this weekend. They had tried their luck elk hunting in New Mexico.
The weather was cold, but there was lots of baked goods to be bought at the Parkview Manor nursing home on Saturday.
Zion Presbyterian Sunday School held their annual Christmas program this past Sunday, This was for the preschool thru 5th grade. They lit the Advent candle, and had special Christmas music by the children in grades 3 thru 5.
Santa Claus stopped at the Ellsworth Nursing Home last week. He was checking to see if they have been good or not. The entertainment was by Bruce, then Santa helped distribute the packages from under the tree.
