Late comeback not enough for Lady Dragons

The Lady Dragons hosted the MCC Rebels January 11.  Going into the locker rooms at the half the Lady Dragons found themselves down 27-17, a late comeback effort by the Dragons wasn’t enough for the Dragons who lost to the Rebels 41-56.

Bailey Lonneman had the hot hands for the Dragons tallying 15 points in the game.  Chipping in 4 apiece were Moriah Bullerman, Avery Balster, Jennifer Preuss, Autumn Grussing and Shawna Rogers.  Jayden Zebe, McKinley Nelson and Kristina Cauwels each put up two points.

Rebounds were the game changer as the Rebels pulled down 36 rebounds to the Dragon 22. Jayden Zebe and Avery Balster and Bailey Lonneman each had 4 defensive rebounds in the game. McKinley Nelson and Kristina Cauwels each had 3 rebounds and Jennifer Preuss and Moriah Bullerman had 1 apiece.

The Lady Dragons will be in action at home on Friday whent hey take on Edgerton then they will travel to Cottonwood on Monday to take on Lakeview.
