It looks like there’s a “new girl” in town! Mindy LeBrun is sporting a new, shorter haircut.  Wanting to help little ones in need, Mindy donated twelve inches of her hair to “Wigs for Kids”, a non profit organization that seeks to serve children suffering from hair loss.   Tasha Spykeboer of Roots Salon & Boutique in Adrian did the honors.  You look great, Mindy!

The late Jim and Germaine Roemeling’s family continues to be proud of their mother’s caring nature. Germaine and Jim lived in Lismore for many years.  Upon her death in 2018, Germaine’s corneas were donated and someone received the gift of sight.  Her children recently attended a beautiful, heartfelt, and very emotional program in Sioux Falls to honor that gift.  Hosted by the Dakota Lions Sight and Health organization, this event featured several recipients who gave their testimonies of genuine gratefulness. Germaine’s children encourage everyone to be an organ, tissue, and cornea donor if you are not one already. Please be the answer to someone else’s prayer!
