Adrian News 03-25-20

Week two of our new normal.  It is very strange to come to Maine Street and there may be one car.  It’s a good thing-that means people are paying attention to the warnings.  Please check the paper for all of the new hours and closings for our communities.

Our deepest sympathies to Mary, Sarah, Paul and Pete Nealy.  Doctor Tim passed away on Sunday, March 22nd, four days before his eightieth birthday.  Tim was a big part of our community for many years.  He will be greatly missed. Our prayers to his family. God bless the memory of Tim Nealy.

Remember you can get delivery to your home (groceries, meals) if you prefer it.  Please call the individual businesses or City Hall at 483-2849.  Please respect the social distance and stay home.  Thank you and be safe.

We will be closing our office after this paper is printed.  You can still reach us by calling 483-2213, or emailing us at ncreview@frontier.com.  We will be checking messages and emails on a regular basis and will still put out a weekly newspaper-just working from home.

Our sympathies go out to the family of Doug Rust, who passed away on March 15th.  His funeral will be postponed.  God bless the memory of Doug Rust.

Thought for the week:  How disturbed should we be if our income falls below the national average, or even below our neighbor’s?  There is always the possibility that I am poor because I feel poor, not because I lack necessities.  Maybe it’s time to take stock of what is truly important!

Have a good week.  Stay home and be safe!
