The Adrian High School Speech team competed in the Montevideo Thunderhawk Invitational on Saturday, March 10, 2018. The team tied for fourth in a meet of 16 teams.
Earning awards for the team: Sabdi Bravo was first in Informative Speaking; Felicity Alvarado was second in Great Speeches; Jayda Castaway took second in Original Oratory; Maritza Beltran was second in Poetry; Alexia Kemper placed third in Extemporaneous Reading; Sara Knips was fifth in Prose; Tommy Morrison took seventh in Original Oratory and Aaron Rojas earned honorable mention in Humorous.
The next meet for the team is Saturday, March 17, in Janesville, MN.
