Dragons fall by 1 in Holiday Tourney nailbiter

It was a tale of two halves when the Adrian Dragons travelled to Wabasso Thursday to take on the TMB Panthers in the first round of the Holiday Tournament.  While the Dragons struggled in the first half the Panthers outscored them 31-16.  Coming out of the locker room the Dragons showed up for the game and turned the game around outscoring the now struggling Panthers 31-17.  Unfortunately the comeback run would fall just one heartbreaking point short of earning the win for the Dragons as they fell to TMB 47-48.

The Dragons were once again led by Junior Bailey Lonneman with 10 points, Jayden Zebe and Moriah Bullerman had 9 points apiece, Jennifer Preuss contributed 7 points, Senior Avery Balster put in 5 points, Senior McKinley Nelson contributed 3 points andKristina Cauwels and Autumn Grussing each put up 2 points for the Dragons.

Defensively Bailey Lonneman led the charge with 7 rebounds (1 offensive), Jayden zebe 2 defensive rebounds (2 offensive),McKinley Nelson 2 defensive rebounds (1 offensive), Kristina Cauwels 2 defensive rebounds, Moriah Bullerman 1 defensive rebound (3 offensive), Jennifer PReuss 1 defensive and 1 offensive rebound and Shawna Rogers 1 defensive rebound.
