Ellsworth News 10-23-19

Mimi Drenth, from Rock Rapids, IA  was a Saturday visitor and Dr. Paul and Mary Jean (Siemer) Adams, of Atkinson, NE were Sunday afternoon visitors with Ruth Birkett and Skip Birkett.

The Vikings Football team really gave everyone quite a game to watch on Sunday.  Part of the excitement was the back and forth touchdowns.  In the second half the Lions continued to tease, but it turned out to be a win for the Vikings !!!!!

Wilma Kruse and Jan Stoll joined others in their monthly support group outing at The Great Wall Chinese restaurant in Brandon for lunch.

The farmers are working hard at getting their beans out! That snow really did slow them down.  We had a couple of nice days last week to help them out.  They are forecasting a colder week with possible rain showers.

Skip Birkett was a Thursday caller with Fred Huisman….Fred recently celebrated his birthday.

Pray for continued success for the farmers with their crops.  Also keep prayers coming for the people that need prayers due to death or illness and others in need.

Clocks fall back on Sunday, November 3, 2019!!
