Lady Dragons go 3 and 3

The Lady Dragons headed into their third match of the season hoping to keep their perfect record intact.  The visiting Hills Beaver-Creek Patriots proved to be too tough for the Dragons.

The Patriots jumped out early in the first set and never looked back winning the set 13-25.  Serving and hitting errors on the Dragon side made it difficult to get a rythm going for the home team.  The Dragons would threaten the Patriots in the second game falling by a score of 20-25.  Improved defensive digs and hitting by the Dragons kept them closer in the second game.  The Patriots proved to have the hot hands again in the third game taking the Dragons down 15-25.

Offensively Kasie Tweet led the Dragons with 26 set assists.  Miah Kunkel led the Dragons in kills with 10, followed by Lexi Slater with 8 kills and Paige Bullerman with 6.  Defensively a scrappy Miah Kunkel scooped up 12 digs followed by Kasie Tweet with 11 and Lexi Slater with 9 digs.
