The Panther girls fought hard against Murray County Central, coming within one point in the 4th quarter. MCC then turned up the momemtum, outscoring the Panthers 20-9 to come out with the victory.
Panther highlights for the night came from a three point shot by Kallie Chapa to put them within three points, Ashlyn Meester put them as close as four and Sierra Smith putting them as close as one.
Leaders for the Panthers were; Lizzie Chapa with 19 points, Deven Dreesen 17 points and six rebounds, and Sierra Smith with seven rebounds.
The Panthers record now stands at 1-10 for the season.

Liana Blomgren’s 13 points and 15 rebounds led Mountain Lake past Ellsworth in basketball action.
Ellsworth was led by Ashlyn Meester’s 10 points.
