The Adrian basketball program will be hosting a three day basketball camp for boys and girls grades 4-7 and grades 8-12 on August 8, 9 and 10th. Instructors for the camp will be from Warwick Workouts of Sioux Falls.
At the Offensive Skills Camp for grades 4-7, players will learn the foundation of basketball starting with shooting instruction and development, footwork/shot preparation, stationary ball handling and two ball dribble series. The Advanced Offensive Skills Camp for grades 8-12 helps players enhance or build on that foundation and expand their skill set. There will be a session focused completely on shooting and athletes will also participate in heat, magic, warrior and fast-break shooting drills. Advanced ball handling techniques are worked on throughout the three day camp.
The sessions are limited to forty athletes so reserve your spot today by sending your payment along with the registration form found below to the Adrian High School or Elementary office in care of Lisa Sieve. Cost for the session for grades 4-7 is $80 and cost for the grades 8-12 session is $125. The session for the younger players will run from 10:00 am until noon and grades 8-12 will be 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm at the Adrian High School gym.
