Chocolate Chip- Banana Bread

1/2 cup butter, softened                1 1/2 cups flour

3/4 cup sugar                         1 1/2 tsp. baking powder

2 eggs           1/2 teaspoon baking soda

3/4 cup sour cream           1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup mashed fully ripe bananas   3/4 cup semi-sweet choco late chips

Heat oven to 350º. Beat butter and sugar until blended. Add eggs and sour cream, mix well. Add bananas and combined dry ingredients; mix just until moistened. Stir in chocolate chips. Pour into a greased and floured 8×4 inch loaf pan. Bake 1 hour or until tooth pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 5 minutes; remove from pan to wire rack. Cool completely before slicing. Refrigerate leftovers.  Makes 16 servings.
