    St. Kilian will host a “Gather 4 Faith Celebration” on Sunday, June 26.  Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 PM with Bishop Quinn and Father Beerman. There will be live entertainment by Dan Mahar & Audrey Brake and a rib-eye steak sandwich dinner. Free will offerings will be accepted. Special items available for sale will be: St. Kilian history booklets, greeting cards and laser cut ornaments, chances will be sold on a St. Kilian quilt and a “St. Kilian” bench. Proceeds will go to support the continued care of the historic St. Kilian Church, the building grounds and cemetery.

    Melissa & Mike Einck and Mari were members of the Riley’s Racers team that participated in the Great Strides Walk for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation on Saturday in Sioux Falls. Riley is the 3-year old son of Joey & Tara Einck diagnosed with cystic fibrosis. Several family and friends walked for the cure with the foundation raising close to $60,000.

    Friday, June 10th, the Lismore Booster Club will sponsor the first outdoor movie of the year.  Bring your own lawn chair or blanket.

    Dylan Johnson, son of Patty & Mike Buysse will be at home until the end of July at which time he will attend the Northwestern Railroad Institute in Vancouver, WA.  Dylan has spent the past four years in the US Marines, most recently stationed in Hawaii. Thank you for your service Dylan.

    Flory Loosbrock is recuperating at his home following knee surgery last week.

    Many area residents, along with several ladies from The Meadows in Worthington enjoyed the Lismore CDA hotdish & salad luncheon on Wednesday under the supervision of Activities Director, Cheryl Dinsmore.

    Congratulations to Waylon & Morgan (Lynn) Blasius of Aurora, SD on the birth of their son, August James, born on May 26th in Brookings.  Proud first time grandparents of little “Gus” are Brad and Brenda Lynn of rural Lismore.  Wade and the late Lezlie Blasius are the other grandparents.  Great-grandparents are Bob & Jeannette Lynn and Vera Wick.

    Patty Buysse, Dylan Johnson and Alyx Dahmen attended the wedding and reception of David Cook and Danielle Neilson in Rapid City, SD.   Dylan was a groomsman for the wedding. David and Danielle will make their home in Brookings.
