Tune in Sunday, October 2nd at 9pm to see the new HBO series “Westworld”.  Lisa (Engbarth) Demaine (daughter of  Lyle & Karyl formerly of Lismore) was the 1st Assistant Director on the show.  The 1973 film of the same title inspired this science fiction/thriller series.

Gianna Marie DiGiovanni  was baptized Saturday afternoon at St. Anthony Catholic Church.  Gianna is the daughter of Mary Jean & Anthony DiGiovanni of Omaha, NE. The little lady’s Godparents are Stephen & Bethany Loosbrock of Overland Park, KS.  A reception for the family was held at the home of Gianna’s grandparents, Bruce & Brenda Loosbrock. God’s blessings to Gianna and her family!

Opening duck hunting, an annual Krogman tradition was continued again this year. In the afternoon a dinner was hosted by Bruce & Ruth Lutmer of Brooklyn Park at their acreage near Leota. Those in attendance were: Bill Krogman and his nephew, Ben Hoffman of the St. Cloud area; Josh Krogman, Detroit, MI; Bob & Shorty Krogman of White Bear Lake; and Tom & Mary Krogman of Lismore. Each year the Krogman Family donates a gun to the Adrian Ducks Unlimited Banquet in honor of their parents, Buck & Rita Krogman.  This year the Remington 870 Express 12 gauge was won by Keyona, daughter of Cory & Heidi (Honermann) Klingenberg of Adrian.

Sam LeBrun & Mindy Moe were united in marriage on Saturday, September 24th at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Luverne. A reception was held at the Brandon Golf Course following the ceremony.  Parents of the newlyweds are Marty & Josie LeBrun of Adrian and Doug & Jayne Moe of Brandon, SD. Sam & Mindy reside in Lismore in what was once his paternal grandparent’s home. Ray & Bette LeBrun now reside in Luverne.  Congratulations, Sam & Mindy!

Jason, Angie and Jon Beek of Inwood, IA and Jackie Wieneke helped Troy Wieneke celebrate his 50th birthday at Key Largo along with Connie, Eric and Tori Wieneke of Slayton and Nate Wieneke of Pipestone.
