On Tuesday, May 17, Mt. Lake Area came to Ellsworth to make up the previous week’s game. Mountain Lake scored one run in the second and put the game out of reach in the 4th, scoring 7 runs adding 1 in the 5th and 3 in the 7th. Adrian Area had runners in scoring position in the 1st, 5th, and 6th inning but couldn’t get the hit to score the runs.
Leading the offense was Hailee Nolte 1-2, 1-2B, Devin Dreesen, Olivia Weidert, and Becca Sjogen all finished with 1-3 at the plate.
Defensively, Paige Bullerman had 2 assists. Payton Echter, Jodi Bents, Brooke Grussing, and Devin D. each had 1 assist. Put-outs; Olivia W. had 8, Paige B.-4, Jodi B. and Becca S. each had 3, Payton E., and Avery B., each had 1.
Devin Dreesen pitched the entire game giving up 15 hits, 3 walks and 5 strikeouts. Paige Bullerman did the catching.
